Start your day with these 5 alkaline juices
The alkalinity of the bloodstream is very important to avoid diseases or illnesses.
Why?
Blood pH is slightly alkaline (7.4) and we consume a lot of acidic food which leaves acidic ash or filth and toxins in our body. If these unwanted morbid materials are not expelled naturally, it leads to a situation called Toxaemia which means toxins in blood and it would lead the way to ill-health and diseases.
To maintain alkalinity of the body, if we should include 2 simple habits in our day to day lives –
- Eat less acidic food – Also known as secondary food. Grains, legumes, animal products ( dairy & meat), processed food, etc come under this category.
- Eat more alkaline food – Also known as a primary food or cleansing food as they help to clean the toxins which are produced by acidic food.
Green vegetables, few kinds of grass, herbs, vegetables in general and fruits ( with few exceptions like citric food which are mildly acidic) are some of the alkaline foods. Including them in your daily diet is highly recommended to live a healthy life.
Here are 5 simple food/juices which can be consumed as pre-breakfast drinks or “wake-up” drinks. Please note all these drinks should be consumed empty stomach when you have cleared the bowel movement naturally. Slowly it will improve overall health.
Banana Stem Juice: This juice is highly effective for unitary disorders including kidney stones along with providing the alkalinity in the body.
How to make Banana Stem Juice
Take 20 grams of the banana stem ( remove the outer perforated portion and take out the juicy stem. Chop it into small pieces & grind it in 20 ml of water. Sieve the juice and throw the leftover fiber. Add 100 ml of water and consume immediately to avoid the darkening of the juice.

Ash Gourd Juice: This juice is highly effective to solve digestive disorders especially caused by acidity.
How to make Ash Gourd Juice: Peel off the ash gourd and remove the seeds. Take 20 grams of ash gourd and grind it in 20 ml of water. Sieve it and add 100 ml.

Watermelon Rind juice ( white portion) –
Eating the whole watermelon or consuming the juice is always fun but most of the time, the white portion of watermelon is discharged. This white portion is highly alkaline and should be consumed as a pre-breakfast drink.
How to make WaterMelon Rind Juice: Cut the watermelon and remove the red portion of the fruit. Use that for your Mono-fruit meal for the day. Take 20-gram white portions to grind it in 20 ml of water. Sieve it and add 100 ml.
Cucumber Juice: A summer Coolant should be consumed as alkaline juice where no other juice is mixed and no salt and sugar are added.
How to make Cucumber Juice: Peel off the cucumber and remove the seeds. Take 20 grams of Cucumber and grind it in 20 ml of water. Sieve it and add 100 ml.
Tender coconut water: Easily available in the market, just remove the cover or outer layer and consume it directly using the straw.
